Privacy Policy for Vision Bingo
Effective Date: July 19, 2026
Vision Bingo is an iPhone game where players complete bingo boards by finding real-world objects and verifying them with the device camera. This policy explains what information the app uses, how it is handled, and how to contact us.
1. Information We Collect
- Account and profile information: If you sign in with Apple, the app receives the account identifier and any email/name details Apple provides for authentication. You may also choose a display name, handle, and avatar for profile, friends, and multiplayer features.
- Gameplay data: The app may store pack ownership, room membership, scores, found items, and game progress so gameplay works across sessions and multiplayer rooms.
- Camera and verification data: Camera access is used to verify bingo items. Vision Bingo is designed to run ordinary visual verification on device, but verification results, confidence scores, and related debug context may be used to operate, improve, and troubleshoot the game.
- Photos and videos: Photos you capture generally stay on your device unless you choose a feature that shares or uploads them. Online multiplayer may upload verified-cell photos so room members can see shared match memories after automated safety screening. If you ask for a second review of a rejected photo, that photo may be uploaded for automated review.
- Photo library access: If you enable photo saving, the app may save verified photos to your device photo library.
- Purchases: Apple processes payments for in-app purchases. Vision Bingo stores purchase and entitlement records, such as product identifiers and transaction identifiers, so purchased content can be unlocked and restored.
- Notifications: If you allow notifications, the app may store an Expo push token and notification preferences so it can send requested app notifications.
- Diagnostics and analytics: If configured, the app may use Sentry for crash reporting and PostHog for product analytics events such as app launches, product interaction, purchases, verification flow health, and game flow health.
